| The purposes of the Cedar Mountain Garden Club are: To aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources To promote civic beautification and encourage the improvement of roadside and park plantings To advance the study of gardening, landscape design, environmental issues, floral design and horticulture To cooperate with organizations furthering the interest of horticulture, conservation, environmental protection and beautification |

| Membership is the key that unlocks the potential of the Cedar Mountain Garden Club of Newington, CT. Reaching out into the community we must attract new members who seek the joy of gardening through shared purpose and common goals for our future. The annual dues for active members are $15.00. An active member must be a resident of area towns and must participate in all club activities. The regular meetings of the Cedar Mountain Garden Club are held at the Kellogg-Eddy House, 679 Willard Ave, Newington, on the third Monday of each month from September through June with the exception of February. There will be no February meeting. |

| Nominations for new officers are held annually in March and then voted into office at the May meeting. Officers hold their seats from September - June.
